About the Event
The freeze response is a natural survival reaction of the nervous system. It’s what happens when life feels overwhelming and your system perceives that the demands placed on you exceed your current capacity. This state is not a lack of motivation, discipline, or willpower, it’s a protective response.
In this 90-minute live masterclass, we’ll explore why freeze happens, how it differs from everyday stress, and why so many people find themselves stuck in this state for long periods of time. You’ll gain a clearer understanding of what keeps the nervous system in freeze and why trying to “push through” often makes things worse.
This session will help you reframe your experience, reduce self-judgment, and develop a more accurate understanding of what your nervous system actually needs when it shuts down. Rather than focusing on forcing change, we’ll look at how understanding, capacity, and safety play a central role in supporting movement out of freeze.
This masterclass is for anyone who feels blocked, overwhelmed, or frustrated with themselves for not being where they want to be, and who wants to understand what’s really happening beneath the surface.
